The Faithfulness of God

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Psalm 89:34 (KJV)
Often times, we wrongly measure the faithfulness of God by looking at the money we have or lack thereof, but that is not what faithfulness is. God’s faithfulness is seen in the work He does in our lives on a daily basis and in fulfilling His promises to us. It doesn’t matter what you went through, or where you have been in life; what remains is that God has been faithful. And He has brought you out of where you were. Just the mere fact that you are saved today, that He brought you out of the miry clay where you were bogged down and serving Satan, He brought you and put you into His marvelous light is a clear portrayal of His faithfulness. If you have a promise from God, He is faithful to honour His promise. It might take a long time in your sense, but God always comes at the right time. He always does things at the right time and many promises are promised not only to us but to our children and their children. We see from Genesis 15 onwards that God’s promise to Abraham not only applied to him but it cascaded into the lives of his son, Isaac; grandson Jacob; and great grandson Joseph. There is never a promise that God made that He has not fulfilled. Reflect on the faithfulness of God manifesting itself in your life today!
